{my labor day}

zachary just left for football practice. they are going to do a walk through on the field and watch game film. hopefully short and sweet....looks like it should rain soon.
he and meg went to the state fair yesterday afternoon. just missed all of the rain. it is the 6th year they have gone together.

hard to believe that school starts in two more days. madison is set to go with new school supplies and fun new clothes. as we were driving to starbucks this afternoon she reminded me that zac still has no school supplies.

i asked him to go with me about a month ago and he had better things to do. so now, he has to figure out how to pay for his haircut, take time to get his school clothes, and school supplies. time to learn not everything is on his schedule. we all have a life too.

watching hurricane gustav hammer baton rouge louisiana and the republican convention on t.v.

loved missy's blog today. talking about going back to school and making granola yesterday. i think i will go and buy some fall candles wednesday morning {my day off - woo hoo}, take a trip to goodwill to find something fun for the house, and make missy's granola recipe.

enjoying a lazy day today.

looking forward to the school year and a routine.

Zone 1: Mission #1

We are in Zone 1 this week, that is the Front Porch, the Entrance area and the Dining Room. Today you are to sweep your front porch area around your front door. Shake out your welcome mats and wipe down your front door. This makes a huge difference in how your home looks. We have a tendency to neglect this area and yet it is the first thing that people see when they come to your home. Spend 15 minutes taking care of this, you will be pleased with the results!
