speaking of gangs.....zac and 3 of his friends from the football team drove in zac's car to 7 on 7 tonight. they had their rap music all cranked up and all four of them were dancing with the windows rolled down when they drove up to the football field. some random dad from mckay got out of his car and told them to "quit throwing gang signs" at him. pretty funny. so now i guess we have 2 members of the a-town gang living in our house. holy smokes. come on people.

i was in need of a little inspiration. and there it was. right in front of my nose. from this inspirational gal. thanks, heidi. it's ordered and on it's way.

and then there is this site. seriously cool. i am on my way to buy a control journal this week. to basically....get it under control. we are pretty ahead of the game when it comes to finances, but you can always get a little organized.

i need to get a little "simpler" {is that how you spell that?} as well.

seriously. thanks for reminding me friend. when i was a buyer at sadie's i wanted to carry this line, but it was european....hard to order....hard to convert pricing....just kind of awkward. i gave the catalog to emma downtown about 3 years ago and forgot the name of the company until missy reminded me yesterday. pure heaven.

today i am grateful for:

• ate so, so healthy today.
• walking tonight with my best friend.
• i have the {3 amigas} spending the night at the house tonight.
• starbucks coffee with maxine at 3 p.m.

{board retreat}

home from the board retreat about an hour again. i'm pooped.

took madison, taylor, and john with me. i think the girls had a gret time. they entertained john while i was in meetings all weekend.

they also got to be the first passengers in our new club van. they nick named her "ugly betty."

looking forward to a nap and a day off tomorrow.

lights in kitchen....still all caddy-wompas and not pointing in the right direction yet, but they are up gosh darn it.
chandelier for the dining room and in our entry way. ours has cream shades on it though. i will probably change the dining room shades out to red for the holidays.

john and my brother-in-law john balancing on our ledge to hang the light........scary. they would have a beer, hang a light, another beer, another light. we had 8 lights to hang. you do the math. they broke light number 8. thank goodness i am going to portland to pick sunny up tomorrow......i will have to make a pit stop at ikea.
