holy long hair!

happy as the sun today :)

took madison and haley to the coast all day on sunday. had a great time. ate at the brewery and sang at the top of our lungs the whole way there and back. so fun.

madison asked her first boy to sadie hawkins today.

she made the cutest t-shirt with a bunch of names on it and hers in permanant marker. the instructions were to wash the shirt and then all of the names except for hers would disappear. so cute and creative :)

the hi-lite of the night was when she called her big brother in college to ask him if he could th ink of any "grenade names" to put on the shirt. aka ugly/fat girl names via jersey shore.

love those two. so in aprope!! but, i love it.

3 different sets.
jackson and cody first, then some taylor/tyler kid a couple of hours later.

plus....a really cute one came to visit me inbetween.

madison really is the sweetest girl.

i was all mopey yesterday....missing my friend.

so, madison told me to buck up and get in the car and we drove to the coast at 2:00 in the afternoon. we had lunch at mo's, walked on the bay front, and laughed our heads off at the the most random things.

it was nice to have someone to talk to. she is a keeper.

{mcdowell creek falls}

madison was back home on monday....yay!

i packed a backpack full of snacks {that we never touched}

drove through subway to grab lunch.....-

and then headed to mcdowell creek falls.

it was gorgeous. and i had the best company eva!

i wish that it was just a little bit closer because i could do that hike every single day.

so much more fun than walking on sidewalks in town

but, sadly that was on monday....and it's wednesday....and i am

still so sore i can barely walk up the steps at work.

i am old and fat....but, i am a kick ass mom!

{my girlie is home today}

today was so productive.

got up early and got all of the laundry done, cleaned the house top to bottom,

and even mowed the lawn for the first time EVER at this house.

very proud of myself.

then my two favorites came home....madison to stay....and zachary long enough to grab something to eat before he was back out the door to go fishing all day.

lexie lou died this week. she was 10 :( madison took such good care of her until i was able to get home to help get her to the vet. little miss madison stayed in the room with her the whole time...until the end. brave, brave little girl.
i know lexie knew you were there for her.

gonna go and try to clean another spot out in the garage. i am getting rid of stuff like crazy and it feels really, really good.

this single thing is so far....so good.

{crazy month}

june has been a crazy month at our house.

put the house up for sale for starters.

madison and ashley all dolled up for their second 8th grade dance at the bgca.

these outfits lasted about an hour and then they begged me to run them home to put on t-shirts, shorts, and tennies. they were just as cute....and way more comfie!

i think this was taken a few hours before i found them in a sugar coma laying on my driveway at about 12 a.m. the other day trying not to throw up.
